WordPress has become a juggernaut within the modern web development & CMS landscape, and with this wide adoption has come enough setup & configuration options to render each WordPress site acquiring a unique structure of its own.

Join developer Joey Nizuk of Nye-Zik Creative in an introduction to the WordPress ecosystem. Targeted at business owners who are either considering a WordPress site, or have inherited one, Joey will walk you through the basics of:

  • What WordPress is and what it is not
  • Basic setup and and editor overview
  • Overview of the plugin landscape
  • Basic security
  • Site maintenance

Once completed you’ll have a basic foundation & knowledge to continue exploring the WordPress ecosystem, whether you intend to manage it yourself, or hire someone else to.
