This camp covers the basics of game design and scripting in UE4. This is the same engine used to make Fortnite, the game that has taken the nation by storm. Students will learn how to make their own video game in this month long course. This course will also cover programming and C++. If you’re looking to peak your child's interest in something new and exciting, this is certainly the place to start.
What is Unreal Engine 4?
The Unreal Engine 4 (UE4) is a game engine developed by Epic Games, first showcased in the 1998 first-person shooter game Unreal. Although primarily developed for first-person shooters, it has been successfully used in a variety of other genres, including stealth, fighting games, MMORPGs, and other RPGs. Unreal is a pure C++ engine designed for high performance. Its advanced CPU/GPU profiling tools and flexible renderer equips developers to efficiently achieve quality VR experiences.
